Officially Summer

Last week I got to spend the day at the beach working with the Official Fam on their latest Summer Bucket Hat Campaign.  The images will hit Lids retailers nation wide soon! Can't wait to see the work in store!

The Tables Were Turned

The tables were turned this past weekend when I shot a new look book for the homies at Official Crown of Laurel.  I photographed the extremely talented and all around nice guy,  Taj Stanberry for the head wear line. Taj has directed and worked with some of the best musicians in the world so it was an honor to photograph him and in turn, also have my picture taken by him! Shot out to Jason Peret from the Official family for masterminding the project!

The Decisive BTS

I love this behind the scenes shot taken by LA Weekly staff writer Hillel Aron during a story we were working on that profiled political consultant, Michael Trujillo. The picture that I shot in this bts was the one selected for the story. Neat!

One of my favorite musical groups, Los Rakas, just released their new album titled, El Negrito Dun Dun Y Ricardo. If you get a chance, do your self a favor and pick up this highly anticipate project. There is something for everyone on this album; a little reggae, hip-hop, plena, dance, you won't be disappointed. I was lucky enough to be able to contribute the photo of Dun Dun to their new project. The photo was taken the day I first met the talented cousins in Oakland.  I knew the day we met and I heard their music, that it was just a matter of time before they became the starts they were born to be.  I am so happy to see them succeed! #SoyRaka #RakaNation

The Most Important, Invisible Person in the Theatre

I had the pleasure of photographing the lovely stage manager Megan Crockett for the latest issue of the LA Weekly. Check out the story about one of the theaters most unsung heroes HERE.
Megan is stage managing the lastest Sacred Fools Theater Production, Taste.  "Taste tells the story of two men who meet online and make a unique arrangement: One man will kill, cook, and eat the other. Over the course of the evening, secrets are revealed, boundaries are tested, and a strange but beautiful relationship unfolds. " The show runs until May 17th. Tickets for Taste can be purchased HERE
