Street Player

I had the honor of photographing the legendary Ric Salinas, founding member of the performance trio Culture Clash for the SF Guardian last week. Ric will star in the play, Placas, which opens this Thursday at the Lorraine Hasberry Theater in downtown San Francisco. The play deals with powerful themes of gang life, fatherhood and redemption. I got to see a very small portion of the show during a rehearsal and I can tell you that this is definitely a play not to be missed.

FILM POR VIDA

FILM POR VIDA is coming to San Francisco and I am really happy to be apart of the photo show.
If you haven't checked out the awesome blog yet, you can do so HERE. I got turned on to the site by my homie Austin a few years ago and have been exchanging mail with the creator of the site, Jai Tanju, along with dozens of photographers from all over the world ever since. Neat right?!  If you are in San Francisco September 8th, please stop by the Book and Job Gallery. I am looking forward to the show and to meeting the folks who are apart of the exchange.
